Smile aesthetics is about more than tooth colour. Tooth shape, alignment, existing restorations and gum health all influence the overall result.
Start with an assessment
Before any cosmetic treatment, the dentist checks that your mouth is healthy and discusses the result you are hoping to achieve. Photographs or digital analysis may be used to make the discussion easier.
Options matched to your needs
Depending on the situation, treatment may involve whitening, replacement of a visible restoration or a more comprehensive plan. Each option is presented with its limits, maintenance requirements and realistic expectations.
